Relationship Counseling
and
Individual Therapy
~ for adults in St. Louis and throughout Missouri ~
Does this sound familiar?
You want to assertively confront life challenges and make decisions that will move you toward your goals but instead you…
-
Constantly compare yourself to others and are plagued with self-doubt.
-
Ruminate about the same worries over and over but can’t identify a solution to your problems.
-
Struggle to establish healthy boundaries for yourself and aren’t sure how to advocate for what you want.
-
Feel stuck and aimless, but still know you are capable, competent, and worthy of happiness.
In your relationship with your partner, you yearn to feel understood and connected but instead…
-
Your relationship is filled with tension and you both feel like you are “walking on eggshells.”
-
You keep your feelings to yourself because you want to avoid conflict, and then feelings “boil over” and you end up saying hurtful things to each other that you regret.
-
You argue over petty issues instead of talking about why you’re hurting.
-
You’re considering separating because you feel hopeless for change.
BE ASSURED, LIFE DOESN'T HAVE TO BE THIS WAY.
Hi, I'm Monica and I can help.
I provide therapy to adults using evidence-based approaches that aim to help my clients get “unstuck” and feel more grounded and capable of handling struggles that come up in relationships, work, parenting, and life transitions. My clients learn to validate their own self worth and learn strategies that lead to lasting transformation.
I also provide relationship counseling to couples using approaches that enhance connection, mutual understanding, and trust and that address difficulties with conflict management. Couples leave therapy feeling capable of communicating their needs to each other effectively and with an overall stronger bond and sense of partnership.
Whether you are a veteran of psychotherapy or are interested in exploring it for the first time,
I can help you deepen your self-awareness and develop effective ways of facing life challenges.
How to get started...
Start by scheduling a free, no-obligation consultation so that I can learn more about your needs and we can decide if I’m a good fit for you.
If I am, great! We’ll schedule your first appointment and begin mapping out a path toward your goals.
If not, no problem. I’ll refer to you to another skilled therapist in my network who can help.
